The Mysterious Hitchhiker

Carlo sat silently thinking about the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and how stupid he had been by not giving her his phone number so that they could contact each other and who knew, maybe more. He just couldn´t get her out of his head. She hadn´t been gone for long, he still had a chance to go after her, but what was stopping him? He felt weird for feeling such a strong connection with someone who he had only known for twenty minutes. He got out of his car and went after her. He followed her into that dark doorway, but she was no where to be found. All he saw was a dead end. "How could she disappear like that?" he thought. When he went back outside, his car had been hijacked and they had stolen everything that he had inside, his radio, his wallet, everything. How lucky he had been that he was not in his car at the time, something worse could have happened to him. He decided to give up on the beautiful mysterious girl and head home. When he got to route 28, he saw something familiar hanging on a post, he stopped the car and got out. It was his jacket, he figured it was weird because it was impossible for her to get there before he did, unless her and her boyfriend made up. A few months later, he felt something in his right pocket, a newspaper clipping with something written on the back, "Your welcome, I saved you from something that had happened to me, it wasn´t your time to go, Patty." The newspaper clipping said, "Young couple killed by highjackers." And there was her picture. The same beautiful mysterious girl he offered a ride to.

Review - "The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks

The Notebook - Nicholas Sparks

A story that will stay with you forever about losing and obtaining love; "The Notebook" is set in North Carolina and is about and old man who reads to an old woman out of a notebook. For this woman, listening to the man read is but a morning ritual; for the old man it is so much more than a ritual. Noah and Allie meet one summer and instantly fall in love, however, the difference between their two, vast worlds forces them apart. Noah, a brilliantly created character, keeps Allie in his heart and in his thoughts, content living with only memories to fill the void. Allie is engaged to be married to a man her parents approve of. Each one is living their separte lives until, fourteen years after they instantly fell in love, they meet again and a new love story is created surely to melt your hearts.

"The Notebook" is a deeply moving portrait of love itself, a kind of love that no one believes in anymore. The beauty of the book shines through and tugs at our heartstrings. Sparks presents a universal question: What would happen if two people were given a second chance at love? He shows the magic of romance and that love can enter one´s life at any age, that sometimes we are given second chances.

Based on the enduring love of Nicholas Sparks´s wife´s grandparents, this enchanting love story reveals that everlasting love is possible. A well written sentimental love story, sure to make fans reach the last page with a tear in their eye and a smile on their face. A setting so real, the reader can almost smell the lake. The characters are so believable that the reader feels as though they have known them for a lifetime. A sweet tale about everlasting love, too good to miss out on.

Write a Review - Mission Impossible III

An action film starring Tom Cruise as secret agent Ethan Hunt, the film is quite impressive and the action is interesting too. It starts a little different than the usual. It begins with the end of the story – a flashback. Ethan, in that moment, is stuck in a chair with his enemy Davian making him suffers.
It makes you feel curious because it doesn’t explain to you right away why he is in that difficult situation. You may find some adrenaline in the middle of the story which will brings you in a second to the end.
The entire story can be described as a flashback which suits some people.
An interesting mission is being accomplished by Ethan. The action takes place at his engagement party where, all of a sudden, he his called to a new and incredible mission that is filled with new special effects. He is retired from work but he returns to the known stressful life.
The mission is to rescue a female agent who is captured by Davian. It is basically similar to the last one with some new different aspects and effects. A film with a happy ending and, like most people know, a hero after having a hard fight must be rewarded and must have success on that mission. So he rescues the girl but she dies into the helicopter because Davian had put an implant in her head. It kills her and Ethan swears revenge – to the film viewers it is in some way predicted.
The film shows some romance when Ethan comes back home and marries his fiancé. But this romance scene is interrupted by another mission in order to capture Davian.
This film gets confusing and it is the main mistake committed by the author.
In some point of the story he goes to China to rescue his wife, she is captured too and he gets his wife in exchange for “rabbit’s foot”.
Davian always has something planned which turns the action quite exciting. So he puts Ethan into sleep and inserts another implant but this time in Ethan’s head. To complicate things the hero has to do something about is life to survive and save the mission.
It is once more like “old school” it means nothing changes. The end is always similar to other ones. People are becoming more and more exigent but film makers aren’t prepared to deal with that. So they still make easy understanding endings.
The mission is accomplished right on time and Ethan escapes with his wife.
It’s quite amusing to see special effects and the main characters are brilliant too in their action scenes.
The time is not a plus; it spoils the people’s attention.

A Lucky Hitchhiking

Carlo seemed puzzled.
He went home thinking about her, she was really strange and the unknown situation suited him one more time.
He had a wife, and she was waiting him to dinner. On that night, all changed, the dinner was quite good. They were enjoying it and suddenly the communication between them was happening. Their marriage was dead for a long time ago and they knew it. He put the blame on her because she was unblessed. She couldn’t give birth.
Fortunately, on that evening, they found love and a new and perfect resolution to fight for their marriage.
They agreed on everything. His wife, Andrea, prepared a nice and warm meal to give to the girl.
They were happy.
Carlo drove all night and Andrea helped him by enquiring people on the streets. They were looking for her in the old part of the girl’s town. That town seemed to them very scary to a little girl. They felt as they had a mystery to solve.
They were after her like a dog chases his bone.
It would be helpful if they were given some information about this unhappy girl. But no-one seemed to know the girl. She was unnoticed in that town. How sad could it be? They started all over again. They couldn’t stop. And they did not stop.
For a few days they were obsessed with her.
Lucky the girl was fine; she was living in a hidden space, right behind that dark and strange doorway. When they approached her she was ashamed to be seen in that dirty place.
They talked to her in order to become familiar. They all had a nice conversation and they gave her that special meal; they shared it and everything turned out to be quite nice; different from what had been expected.
A few days later, she was known as Antonela Florenze, she became a member of the family Florenze. They had adopted her and she was happier than ever.
The jacket was her protection from the cold nights and her luck to a brand new life with love.
